Almost all guys flirt. That’s a fact. There is no one accurate or sure fire way that you can tell with absolute certainty that the guy is flirting with you.
There are subtle clues though that when combined will more or less provide you with confidence to conclude that he is flirting. Flirting is a skill that is mastered. It doesn’t happen overnight.
It’s more obvious if the man is just a beginner when it comes to flirting. It’s the hardest when he has become quite adept at it.
The most important clues are nonverbal. Remember that.
- The eyes tell a lot. Take a good look at his eyes. Observe how he looks at you. Do his eyes appear bigger when he talks to you? Do they shine with a glint?
- He goes out of his way to catch or steal your divided attention. What’s the purpose of him going through all of that effort if he doesn’t like you or wants to flirt with you?
- He projects or paints a positive image of himself. He strikes short poses for you coupled with a lot of happy facial expressions. He considers himself and his skills superior than most men.
- He spends a lot of time talking to you.
- He grabs the chance to “accidentally” touch you. A brush on your shoulder and a pat on the back are two examples.
These subtle non-verbal cues don’t mean much taken separately. When they are stacked up all together, they’re a powerful and almost sure indicator that he is indeed flirting with you. Don’t forget about the verbal stuff like sweet messages and sweet words.
Combine the verbal and non-verbal cues and what do you get? He’s busted, he is flirting with you. No more guessing for you, it’s time for you to flirt back if you like him.
